Strathdon Bridge

Linking the settlements on the south side of the river Don to the community hub at the Lonach Hall on the north side of the river was a key community aspiration. Until the 1970’s a bridge had stood at the crossing point.

There is now a 23m span bridge along with a 600m section of aggregate path; both have the additional benefit of encouraging people to use the quieter unclassified road from Strathdon to the Hall rather than the busier A944 road.

Path passable with care after August 2014 flood Damage.
