It had been an aspiration from the Braemar Community to have a path linking across from the Highland Society Bridge to the Glenshee Road and then onto a return spur to Braemar or a wider loop back to Braemar using the Queens Drive.
The section of path running adjacent to the Clunie Water is a grass path because it sits on the rivers immediate flood plain, however the remainder of the path is of aggregate construction until reaching he Glenshee Road.
